Strange combo I know....but, I added some family photos the other day and today finally figured out how to shrink one for an avatar.   (Should have listened more closely when Scott was doing the picture shrinking several months ago at a lunch bunch.)  Also, was just interested in the type of vitamins that you use.  I have been trying several different ones in th last nine months, but haven't found one that I am "thrilled" with.  I use the bariatric advantage calicum....but haven't used their vitamins since I am not sure which one to choose.  Anyway, hope you are all doing well and have a great weekend.

Love the new avatar and the family photo's are magnificent! You look gorgeous as always. Well my vitamins are a non thiller, very basic. I take womens multi vitamin , b12 and Citrical Calcium capsules. I know Melinda has some that she takes and says they are good but the name escapes me at the moment so maybe she can help you more in that area. Hope you are all doing well and thanks for sharing the awesome pictures !!!   (Hugs)

I use the Bariatric Advantage vitamins too in tropical flavor... not the orange citrus although I have used them...  I like this flavor better!  And, I love them!  I also use the wild cherry calcium from Bariatric Advantage.  I have their vitamin D dry capsules which I need to take but have not. I am waiting to see what my labs are like before starting.  And I take solaray sublingual B12 which I got at Vitamin Shoppe and they taste just like sweet tarts.  I have taken them since my surgery and love them!

Are they the extra ADEK ones?  I was thinking about them...  :-)

Ok Its official.  My vitamin container says they are berry flavored! lol They are not the ADEK ones.  Nor are they tropical so I guess I suffer from Alzheimers. If you are interested in a good suggestion for when to take vitamins, here is Susan maria's basic bariatric eating plan for people on maintenance and also includes when to include vitamins

What AWESOME and FUN pictures!!! Thank you for sharing! Where did you have them done? The beach ones actually look like you were at the beach! You are looking GOOD, woman! I'm so proud of you --- and I can tell your family is one just oozing of love and support for one another!  The smiles are all so genuine! About the vitamins... I'm glad you asked, 'cause I just recently started wondering the same thing. I started out on the Flintstones chewable, but I've been taking a women's multi-vitamin for the last few months. I'm about out and was thinking about ordering some of the Bariatric Advantage ones. Just to let you know, in addition to my multivitamin, I take Calcium Citrate w/ Vitamin D - so that's 2-in-1; Dr. Spaw also prescribed Foltrin for me --- it's an Iron supplement w/ the B-12 in it, so it's another 2-in-1. I pay less than $15 for the Foltrin at Target --- w/ no insurance! (John's new insurance doesn't kick in until July 3rd). Taking otc iron and b-12 would be much more than that! Another note: I talked to my pharmacist who suggested that I take any other medications separate from my vitamins/supplements. So I take my pepcid and thyroid medicine in the a.m., (along with a stool softener and gas-X) and take my vitamin, calcium and iron/B-12 right before I go to bed. Since I started doing it this way, I have no upset stomach. Before, every time I took my vitamins/supplements, my stomach would get upset about 30 minutes after I took them and be upset for about 30-40 minutes. Now I take them and go to bed. Either they don't upset my stomach, or I'm asleep before the discomfort hits, 'cause I've had none taking them at night. Just a thought... Thanks again for sharing the fabulous pics! Hope to see you in person next Saturday --- are ya'll coming to Razz's?

Oh Tara, I noticed you said you take your vitamin and calcium at the same time.  I don't know about this, but I've always been told not to take them together as the body is not able to absorb the calcium for some reason.  Might want to check with your doctor/nutritionist just to be on the safe side.

That's iron.  Iron is picky. It is a hog in that it wants to share nothing with nothing.  Can't take anything with iron. You can take calcium & multi together.

Thanks.  It is so hard to keep all this straight.  And sometimes, it seems even our doctors don't know completely. (LOL)
