First Post Plastic's Dr Appointment today

I am still a long way off from feeling like jumping through hoops, however Dr. Tiereny said that I am doing fantastic!!!  Thanks to my nurse Todd and his aids, Beth and Wendy, not to mention Dale.  It has been rough and I have cried wondering what have I done to myself, but it will be much better soon I hope.  I can't sleep for more than an hour at a time, due to the pain so he started me on some sleep medication today to help me get a few hours of constant sleep at night, well I am up, not in pain but up!! LOL  I have got to get some sleep soon in which it would help build up my blood and energy.  Dr. Tiereny removed 3 of my 6 drains today therefore I only have 3 left!!!  The bad thing is the ones that remain are the ones that bother me the most. Maybe, those will be ready to be removed on the 19th, but we must wait and see.   I return to the eye doctor today about the swelling of mys retenas that is causing my visual problem since surgery.  They do tend to be doing better each day, so maybe in another week they will be back to my 20/20 that I am use too!!!  I am really getting sleepy, so I need to go for now, Sleep Dreams for me I hope!! Thanks for all of  you, maybe I will see yall in my dreams!!!!LOL 

I bet I can guess which one of those tubes hurt the most!  The one coming out of your hmm hummmm....  oh yes that one is the most gloriuos of all.  I hope it doesn't work loose or you will be cussing in ways you have never heard a sailor cuss before... bouts of anger while trying to sit down or even stand up from the commode. Oh those were the days!

Wow, you got drains removed even earlier than I did. I'm guessing that 2 of the remaining ones are for the lower back and are coming out in the hip area. Still feel like you could have made it to lunch today? Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bless your heart Sheila! I know it must hurt so bad!  I'm glad you are doing good though. Very cool!
