IDGOMB Monday 6-9-08
Had my first physical therapy session since the eval today. Most of the exercises were on my back as we are working on abdominals and strengthening my trunk and hips. I did walk into therapy today and didn't use my chair. The therapist told me sitting is worse than standing for causing inflammation around my discs. I was bad over the weekend and didn't do my exercises due to pain, but I'm determined to do better. He doubled the things I've already been doing and then added three new ones. I've got to somehow get myself motivated to do these at least twice a day everyday. It is the only way my muscles will get strong enough to take some of the burden off my spine.

After work today, I went to the gym-walked 1 1/2 miles, weight training for 20minutes. I plan to do some yard work with my husband tonight as well to get some stuff done before the big July 4th Holiday. It will take both of use several nights per wee****il then to get it done. I will be cooler at 6pm, I hope. I have a portal water bottle with me at all times.
