TMI...GAS POST OP

I need advice please...My surgery was Thursday, and today i seem to be super distended, and have lots of gas pains...I have been taking gas x and that seems to help, but I would like to know what laxative I can take as well!! Oh my poor aching belly...If only I could burp!!

I know what was suggested to me...WALK, WALK, WALK!   Oh yeah...SIP,SIP,SIP!   Hope this helps!

I wish I knew what to tell you gal LOL It took forever for me to pass the gas. Now, I have "potty" problems. Let me tell you that is NO fun! If you ever have potty problems, milk of magnesia helps. Good luck though! I hope everything... works itself out!

Milk of Mag..girl you are a lifesaver..I didn't even think of that ...My husband has gone to the store to get me some gas x and I just made a call to him to add MOM...Thanks again...BTW how is everything going for you?

Chrissy, Glad to see you are feeling well enough to post even with the gas pains.  Hope you get relief soon.  Do you think you will feel like coming to the support meeting at Baptist on Thursday evening?  If so I would love to meet you.

Everything is going splendidly! My personal trainer is kicking my tail but other than that... it's great! You know, I think I did use GasX but it didn't help me for some reason. You know, people always said I was "full of hot air". Guess they are right.... LOL

Yea that is not a fun probelm but MOM does help it does for me anyways. Hope things get better for you !
