Another WOW moment for me

Ok, so today I realized I actually weight less than I have in the last 12 years.  My weight loss has picked up again and I'm really seeing a difference.  Also, I've been doing a bit of shopping this week and as we all know, it takes awhile to adjust to the fact that we no longer have to shop in the "plus" section and I have gotten to a point where I have graduated - I can no longer be called a "big girl" because I no longer have to shop in the plus size department.  I am so thrilled to know that I can shop anywhere I want to now and I am actually enjoying shopping for the 1st time in my adult life.  My husband cringes everytime I go out and say I'm going shopping, but let me tell you - he is loving the "new me" too.

That is AWESOME!!    I can't wait until I can shop in the regular section and not the plus sizes!  I am already smaller than I have been in close to 20 years, but it still is hard to accept!!  LOL  I am so proud of you!! YOU have done a fantastic job.  Keep up the good work. Beth

Thanks Beth, I appreciate the encouragement.  For the 1st time in years, I am beginning to feel like a "normal" person.  I say that to people who have not been through what each of us has been through and they look at me strange and don't have a clue as to what I'm talking about, so I am quite thankful for the support each of us finds on this board and any other boards we are members of.  It won't be long and you will be right there with me and all I can say is "Oh What A Feeling"!

That is terrific! I concur with Beth, I can't wait to get out of the plus sizes too!

Chandra girl, it won't be long for you either.  It sounds as if you might be coming into some of the sizes I have recently left.  That being said, if you will PM with your phone number, I can give you a call and let you know what I have available and you are welcome to whatever you think might work for you.  Since we frequent the same gym, I can certainly bring it with me one night and pass it along.  As I said to Beth, it won't be long and you will be in the sizes you want to be in and you will be feeling so much better than you do right now.  Keep up the good work girl because right now, you are on FIRE!

Congrats Wendy !!! I still catch myself going to plus size out of habbit but it does feel wonderful being able to go to regular section and even goodwill and find clothes that fit.  It is an awesome feeling, congrats on your WOW.

Thanks Juanita for the comments and encouragement.  It is a great feeling and one that I know will continue to get better as I continue to progress.  I also noticed on your tracker that you have lost more yourself - So Way To Go and keep up the good work.  It will be no time and you will hit your goal weight and that will be a wonderful day of celebration for you.  How did your girls enjoy the Hannah Montana thing they were a part of?  I hope they had a blast.

My weight loss is goingslowly but it is going at least. The girls and I  LOVED the filming. It was a blast and Hannah came within 2 feet of us walking threw the audience. It was really exciting. A very HOT day but it was lots of fun.

Wendy, That is great!  For the first time in 25 years, I love to shop!  I, too, find that I still gravitate to the plus size dept, and when I don't I feel like someone is going to come up to me and say "Honey, you are in the wrong place, the big girl clothes are over there".  When I went shopping with my sister last week, she made me say goodbye forever to Lane Bryant!!!!!! I have only been able to shop at Catherine's for the last few years or by mail order and now I'm loving the fact that I have the ability to shop wherever.  I can still wear some of the sizes in Lane Bryant as well as Catherine's, but I just won't go to those stores because I now have "options" and those "options" don't include Lane Bryant or Catherine's. Congrats on your yoga pants and wearing the same size as your daughter.  I am actually a size smaller than my daughter now and it is killing her.
