Picture Update
Just thought I would share my 5 month pics with everyone. Everything is going well. Just remaining busy just like everyone else. I do have a thought I would like to share though.
In the past week, I have lost 10 pounds. It seems protein and fluids do work. I have never been one to push proteins, even though we need them!!!!!! You see, since surgery, I have skated by doing just the minimum. I got at least 60 grams of protein daily, as well as 64 ounces of fluids. This past week, I started carrying protein shakes to work with me. Everyday this past week, I had at least 120 grams of protein daily (food and drink), as well as over 90 ounces of fluids. I owe my loss this week specifically to that intake.
So, push those fluids as well as protein. It does a body good!!
