Help, just wondering what you had to drink on the liquid diet? mine is for 8 days and I am suppose to drink sugar free carnation instant breakfast, I was wondering if anyone drank anytthing else or possibly low carb slimfast, and if you know if it would make any difference between the two?   Thanks

We were able to drink EAS low carb drinks.  I like mine room temp,  Scott likes them cold.  They come on different flavors, and you can find them at Krogers and WalMart.  Good luck on the liquid diet phase.  It will be over before you no it. Beth

I and several others had to do this 8 day program from Vanderbuilt.  If that's the case you can always call the nut. and see what she tells you.  I drank other thinks like chicken broth, sugar-free popcyles.  It helped and will be over with before you know it. Melissa

I drank slim fast high protein...I also mixed it with ice in the blender..that seemed to give it some substance so I actually felt like I was eating!!! Good Luck

I am not hungry at all!! I guess I have restriction...but my guess it is mainly from swelling from the surgery...Today was my first soft food day, and I could only hold 1/2 of a scrambled egg and I was FULL!!!  I am still having some discomfort...mainly gas...can't wait for that to be history...otherwise I am doing well!!! Good luck to you!

Chrissy,  glad to hear you are doing so well.  The gas will pass, soon.  (sorry). Walking helped alot.  You are on the losing track now!!!    I felt the same way you are at first, then after about a week, the swelling went down and I felt hungry.  Still some restriction, but noticeable not as much.  Even with the first fill, I could still eat between 1/2 to 3/4 cup of tuna/chicken salad or cottage cheese before feeling full.   Now after the 2nd one, the story is different.  Now about 1/3 to 1/2 then I stop. Keep up the good work, Sherry
