Is there a link for all the abbreviations that I see on the OH web site? Like, what is RNY and DS stand for? Thanks

They are types of weight loss surgeries...Roux-en-y and Duodenal Switch. C

I do believe there is a link on this site for the surgical abbreviations and terms used. Please, explore the site and find all of the useful information you can I know it helped me, a lot.

They say "Knowledge is Power" I agree but what I will add "Knowledge is Success". I can attest that the more info I had before having WLS the better prepared I was once the day arrived and the better I was equipped to handle and understand situations before and as they occurred. RNY stands for Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, which is the specific type of gastric bypass most surgeons now perform. DS stands for Duodenal Switch.
