Good Morning Everyone

Well, it is 4:20 in the morning and I am about to get in the shower and get ready to leave for Surgicare at St. Thomas. I just wanted to thank everyone again for all your prayers, messages and phone calls of support.  I still have a massive headache this morning, but something tells me that in a few hours I don't think the headache will be bothering me LOL!!  I do ask that you pray for Dale and Todd, they have a long day of waiting (8-10 hours of surgery) and that will be long and difficult.  Last night, Dale started crying a lot and he is afraid for me, I did not realize that he was as scared as he was, but he has noticed how scared I am about this surgery.  When I explained that I am not so much scared of the surgery itself as I am the recovery, I think that eased him some. He actually just made a joke abou****ching the weather, he said he needed to know what it was going to be like, not me, because he was going to be up 10 hours longer than I was.  LOL   Therefore, please pray for my baby, because he is really is nervous for me, even though he is joking, he is still very nervous.  He will be with Todd until lunchtime then Todd's parents will come to the hospital to pick him up and bring Todd lunch.  They are then going to go to eat and shopping (he has some birthday money to spend) with Dale until I am out of surgery.  Todd has his cell phone and he will be giving Dale mine when he leaves with his grandparents, but Todd will be keeping in touch and keeping you all informed.  Well, I guess I will see you all in a few days. OH YEAH, please pray that they get approval to keep me in the hospital for a few days, it sure would ease my mind some as well, not to mention with the pain LOL!! Shelia, I will be thinking and praying for you and your family today. I know all will go well for you. I hope your husband is going to call someone so we will know how you are doing. It will all be worth it in the end now go have a nice nap........lol. Take care!!!

I'm sure that all your feelings are normal as well as Dale's feelings. Glad to hear that he will be getting a break from staying at the hospital, it will do him good I think to spend time with the grandparents oh and of course spending money......lol It seem's weird to pray that they keep you in the hospital, but I understand, so prayer's going up for you, Todd and Dale.
