Just wanted to share with everyone. It is now 3:13 a.m. and Puddin has had 3 puppies. I'm not sure if she is done just yet. Mom and pups are doing fine. Phil and I have been up with her since about 1:30 or so. They are adorable, not sure how many are males and females. They are all black with markings, two of them are about the same size and there is one little runt it was second, I'm hoping that ones makes it. Dad Pepper and Aunt Peaches wanted to help but mom would hear of it. So we put them in the back room until we know mom is finished. We have mom and pups in a crate for now to kinda isolate them. I guess we will be back in bed in a little bit, we want to make sure everyone is doing ok. We will keep everyone posted. Ok so now that I have had a chance to really look at them this is what we have. We have 1 solid black female, that weighs 8oz, 1 chocolate brown female that weighs 8oz, 1 black with markings that weighs 3oz. They all seemed to be doing fine, the male runt sometimes has a rough time finding moms "equipment" but once he does he doesn't want to let go. We done all the weigh's and took pictures yesterday. I will try to post them sometime this week. Cheryl

Ok, Cheryl, I figure these new babies will be up for grabs in about 6-8 weeks.  I told my husband about them this morning.  You know we recently lost our oldest "baby" and I love having a puppy around the house - most of the time.  But he has very adamantly made it perfectly clear that under no conditions will there be any more pets brought into the house.  I tried every tactic I could come up with, but he will not budge.  Zoe is still lost with Alex gone and has resorted to some "bad" behavior.  She recently got in my closet - which I left open - and got one (just one) house shoe and hid it under the bed to "love" on.  I heard this "sucking" noise one evening and got down to find her sucking on the house shoe.  I took it away from her and put it back and closed the closet door.  But everytime I open that closet to get something out, she is right there going in to investigate and look longingly at the house shoe.  Then last night she disappeared under the bed again and I heard what sounded like "chewing" sounds.  I got down and looked to find she had a clothes pin under there and had chewed it up.  That went in the garbage.  But she has not been the same since Alex passed.  She has become a "cry baby" at night.  Long about 7:00 or 7:30 she starts whining because she can't find him and she wants to go to bed.  It is really kind of sad. As much as I would love to have another baby in the house, I don't think I should push my luck as I could wind up homeless or husbandless.  Personally, I'm not to keen about the homeless part, but the husbandless part - eh???? (LOL - JK). I hope they all do well and you find really good homes for them.  I'm sure they are cute, sweet, and just adorable.  Take care and post some pictures of them soon.
