What's he like?  Tell me what you know.  I'm thinking of using him for my surgery.  Thanks

In my humble and honest opinion, he's the best there is!  But I'm sure everyone will say that about their Dr. also!!! Dr. Dyer did both my wife and my surgery.  He is a very compassionate and caring person who only wants whats best for his patients.  I actually had the pleasure of meeting him and his wife outside of the Dr.'s office.  Last year at the Walk from Obesity I was walking next to a couple who were talking about how beautiful Nashville was.  It turned out to be Dr, dyer and his wife.  WOW!!!  What a great couple.  They took time to answer questions  and were really helpful! So, he's the best!  Hope that helps!

Dr. Dyer did not do my surgery; however, I do have a story about him.  He is a very good friend of a friend.  When one of my daughter's close friends in college had a gallbladder attack, because of lack of insurance, he was taken to General Hospital.  They didn't want to do anything for this kid at General.  He wasn't from Nashville and his mother was just kind of freaking out.  So, I was talking to my friend about this situation and how much pain this kid was in and the fact that General didn't want to do anything and they weren't even giving him pain meds to cope.  As it turns out, my friend was talking with Dr. Dyer later that day and was telling him about it.  Dr. Dyer said for us to have this kid's mom call him directly and he would see what he could do.  Dr. Dyer got this kid transferred to Baptist Hospital, helped the family make payment arrangements and performed surgery on this kid in less than 12 hours. To me, that is a doctor that goes above and beyond what is expected of them.  If my insurance company had not required me to go to Baptist to have my surgery done, I probably would have gone to Dr. Dyer first.  In my opinion, this is a man with a lot of compassion and he truly loves what he does and wants to put the patient's best interest first.  I hope this helps with the decision you are going to make.  Good luck and let us know how things turn out for you.

One of my best buds had him for her surgeon . HE is WONDERFUL!  She actually went to high school with him and felt very comfortable with him and his staff.  PM me if you want to know more. I wanted to use him but his office doesn't accept my second insurance. His folks were wonderful to talk with.  I used Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis......got in alot faster than I could have with Centennial......I LOVE DR Weaver........ so everything worked out for me. I am almost 10 months out and down 85 POUNDS!! Happy and healthy!!!!!!!!! Best Wishes to you! Leticia

Work like you don't need the money......

I love, love, love Dr. Dyer. He did my surgery and he is such a compassionate man. He takes medicare and that was what I had so it helped me to be able to get my surgery. I feel blessed to have him as my surgeon.
