Most of you might already know this but for those that don't I wanted to pass along some great info.  I was in GNC today to purchase my New Whey Protein Bullets.  I asked the guy how much a GNC Gold Card (discount) was and he told me $75 and did I want to purchase one.  I said no thanks not today.  Well, he then told me if I purchased $75 worth of merchandise, the card was free.  So, I added a few more things to my purchase and got a free Gold Card.  You can use the Gold Card the 1st 7 days of every month and receive 20% of your total purchase.  Oh, and I received a free sample of the new Peanut Butter Supreme Protein Bar that Melinda has spoken of and let me tell you, it was the BOMB.  I loved it and will certainly have to purchase some of them. Oh, one other piece of info.  The gym that I am a member of, Urban Active, has a "pro shop".  They make and serve protein drinks, have different cold beverages for sale, and they also have a wide assotment of protein bars.  I noticed the other day they have a smaller version (about half the size) of the other Supreme Protein Bars that Melinda has spoken of in the past.  I believe they are $2.50 or $2.95 each and are about half the size/protein of the others.  You don't have to be a member of the gym to walk in and purchase from the "pro shop".  So, if you are looking for something really good and want to try a smaller version of it, you might try looking at some of your local gyms to see if they offer them.

GNC Gold card $75???  Mine was $15.  I think he was on crack...  or wanted to sell a few more items ! Lord lord.  But at least you got it free.  That's  a great deal! OH YES JESUS!  I love that peanut butter protein bar!!!  And its so tiny too.  I wanted to stop in there every day after my Suntan City session but I didn't. LOL.  It's just next door to my tanning shop.

Ok, so suffice it to say, I probably was fed a line of bull - he did say he had only been working there 1-1/2 weeks, so he probably didn't know what he was talking about.  Thankfully, I only had to spend about $3-4 more to get it for free, so I guess it all worked out in the long run.
