Not many of you know but I put in an application to the Robertson County Sheriff's Department late last year in hope of getting a job closer to where I live. Being a single mom and driving an hour to work and an hour home and with gas prices soaring from day to day, it has put a strain on me to say the least. As of June 9th I will be working at the Sheriff's Department in Springfield where I live and it is only 5 minutes from where I live and they are offering the same pay I make now so I will be saving money as far as gas. I am so thankful to say the least and I hope I will like the new job. To those of you still searching and needing a job or whatever it may be. I just want to say never give up and I offer this prayer to you.

The Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.

Hi Wendy, You are so correct when you say "GOD IS GOOD"! He does take care of us! I too am a single mom and I understand what you are going through!! I am so thankful for your new job! I wish these gas prices would just go down!! GOd Bless

Yes I think every one is struggling right now with gas and groceries going up. I do pray it goes down soon. Thank you for your Well wishes and support !

That is awesome news, I am so happy for you. You will have tell Phil all about it, that is where he last worked. I'm sure that he has some stories for you.
