Rode my bike so far best distance (Don't Laugh) 4 miles. 40 sit-ups, 40 push-ups,  stretching, light weights upper body, 40 leg lifts. Next!

No laughing, that's great.  Bike Riding  I took a turbo kick class today- was mostly lost for the best part of the class.  I don't know if my body will ever move that fast. Aerobics

Glad your taking turbo kick classes when I start slacking I know who to call to give me the kick in the pants.

Bob if I can move after taking all of the classes I will gladly be of some assistance if ever needed.  I was looking forward to doing some classes once school let out for the summer and my friend that I work out with at the gym as decided that we need to go three times a week.  Shew, I am definatly feeling the old bones in this body.

You are doing great. I just have one question... what does IDGOMB stand for? I'm guessing something like I DID GET OFF MY BUTT but I'm not sure? Am I close? Karen

You got it!  Something we started back in the winter when it was harder to get motivated and was quick and simple to post.  The first person to get going or not get going would start the post. IDGOMB (I Did Get Off My Butt) or IDNGOMB (I Did Not Get Off My Butt) and then if you wanted to describe your activity: Sat On The Couch (if your Mel went shopping or Misty sense she prego getting up out of the recliner would count always two exceptions) or Ran 1 mile so forth. You people crack me up. I love it.  Okay, for today, I haven't been off my butt yet, but we are going grocery shopping tonight so I will definitely be moving around. However I will be in my wheelchair. Does shopping count if you use a wheelchair? I haven't tried the pilates or yoga yet but yesterday I managed to clean up my room and catch up the dishes my husband left behind and also give the kitchen a good going over. Today, to be honest my sugar has been in the 50's and below and I don't feel well. I think my new high protein diet has been lacking in carbs. I probably need to adjust the glyburide a little since I plan to keep eating this way. Yesterday, when my daughter and son in law were leaving for Bristol, I got motivated by my new protein plan and loaded up all my 100 calorie snack packs and gave them away. I guess I better cut the meds a little. Anyway, I do have plans for getting off my big butt but it may take a forklift.  Blessings, Karen

Yep I have got off my butt today . I am back on my routine. Today I went to the Y and did  the ellipcal, and some weight machines.

I got off my butt today too. I spent 2 hours in the grocery store! Then I came home had the kids and hubby take in the bags. BUT I put it all away. Woohoo! I also used my hubby's weights and did an arm workout.
