Sleep Study

So I didn't get my surgery date today because he wants me to have a sleep study first (which will show I have sleep apnea I'm sure).  He warned me they will try and give me a date like a month from now and to make sure they know I have surgery ready to go pending this study to try and speed them up. I meet with their doctor on Friday and will hopefully find out when I am going to get my sleep study done.  Then I have to find a system (there are different masks) that work for me before Dr. Spaw will schedule me. I wonder how long this will take??? He did seem confident I would still have surgery some time in July. P.S. He was pleased I had given up soda and started on my vitamins and says he's sure I will do everything necessary to have this done laproscopically!

Good luck on things going forward smoothly.  I so know what it's like to be trying to get everything together so you can get a date. I just kept trudging along and jumping through hoops all for that magical date. Congrats on the soda thing! I gave them up prior to surgery too and was so glad I did and you will be too!  Not as hard as you thought huh?  Once I put my mind to it, it was so much easier than I anticipated.

Yeah Blush!  That's a step in the right direction!   Keep it up and you will be there before you know it!
