No Pain, No Gain

Well, whoever came up with that phrase needs to explain it to me...I'm in PAIN! LOL. I did it though, I met with the personal trainer at the Y on Sunday, who came up with some new routines for me to do...a combo of strength and weight training with cardio.  But let me tell ya, there's muscles in my body that hurt, and I didn't even know they were there.  All is good though, I know I'm on the right track to losing that last bit of weight.  I do have a question though...have you ever felt light headed after working out? Yesterday I worked out and was very light headed.  I didn't know if I needed something to eat or was dehydrated.  Very weird feeling.  Just curious.  Have a good week all!

Congrats on stepping out to rev up your workouts.  I'm with you though, I am usually in pain after working out, but it's a good kind of pain.  I'm beginning to think my transfer addiction is working out - I'm kind of starting to crave it now. Anyway, to answer your question, yes, there have been a few times when I have felt just a tad lightheaded after working out.  I find it is when I move to fast from one position to another or am doing something that puts my head on the floor and then I come back to an upright position.  However, there have been times when it has occurred doing other exercises as well.  I have taken a few drinks of water and now I carry a protein bar with me - just in case.  I try not to eat before I go work out because it has a tendency to make me nauseous, but I have had to stop and take a few bites of a protein bar when I've been working out because I became so light headed.  Try those things and if it persists, I would suggest you consult your physician.

Good for you Hun! I have been thinking about consulting with a personal trainer too but they are so darn expensive but maybe worth it if I can lose this weight I have left to lose. I have experienced the ligt headedness too with work out so I try top drink plenty of water before, during and after workout then when I get home I drink a protein shake after workout.
