Campbells "Beefy Mushroom Soup" is really yummy, just strain the bits of mushroom and beef off and enjoy it. I didn't use bullion cubes, I bought soup from Save-A-Lot, used my water, strained off about 2 ozs and instead of drinking it, I used a spoon. I didn't throw away what was left in the pan, just added more water, after that then I would throw it away and start on a different flavor like veggie soup, broth from Pinto Beans is allowed, same for White bean Soup. I don't recommend chicken soup from the Dollar Store, too yellow and buttery looking. There's also sugar free jello, there were times I just wanted something cool vs. broth so I would eat a small serving of sf jello and that's part of your water content. It's a trial and error time period. Try this: 2 ozs of chicken soup broth, 2 ozs of sf jello, and 2 ozs of apple juice for breakfast. Lunch you may not feel up to have much, sf jello and for dinner 2ozs of veggie soup broth, 2 ozs of sf jello, the next morning reverse the soups. That way it doesn't become boring. When did you have your surgery? The bullion cubes check the sodium content, they're pretty salty to me. I hope those ideas help. Always here, Kathy

Are you on clear liquids? Can you have brothy soups that have been pureed? If not, maybe you can strain the chunks out of the soup and just have the broth part. I know there are also some flavored bouillon cubes put out by Wyler's that are very good and would give some variety. I got them at Kroger prior to my surgery. How much longer do you have to do liquids?
