9 months ago today!
Exactly 9 months ago, and also on a Tuesday, I was just coming out of surgery. I still cannot believe how much I have changed in such a short time.
I have now lost 80 lbs from my surgery weight and 107 from my highest weight. I have about 40 lbs to go to get to what I think will be my goal weight. I'm currently wearing size 16 and some 14s.
I have gone from taking 8 prescription meds to only taking 2 and 1 of those is being tapered off.
I have energy and an interest in activities again.
I look forward to going to the gym.
I can wear high heels without pain. I can even put on pantyhose now without getting winded.
I choose to take the stairs instead of looking for an elevator or ramp.
Hubby and I are like a couple of newlyweds again.
Life is good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Susan

Hi Susan, you are doing great and you look great. I have gotten down to 150 and only 20 more to my goal. I'll be 10 months out next week. I eat to gain some weight back because of the leukemia and it keeps coming off. My butt is chapped when I sit even on cushioned chairs because there's no meat on my butt, just bones. I too am in a 14-16 ladies, and I have one dress that fits me perfectly in a size 12. I'll email you later regarding my surgery date to remove the lymph node under my left arm. You keep working it girl, so when we see each other again, we can compare. Love ya, Kathy
