Hello, my name is Pat and I'm really nervous about my upcoming surgery. I don't know what to expect. I really need your prayers to help me get thru this. I keep telling myself that everything is going to work out just fine, but I still have this nagging feeling that just will not go away. I should have approval from my insurance company this week. Therefore, surgery is right around the corner.

Have you met with your surgeon yet? She should have answered most of your questions in the seminar. What procedure are you having? This will let us give you more accurate info on what to expect since the recovery from each procedure is different. What are you most nervous about? Being put to sleep? Post-op pain? Eating after surgery? We're here for you. Just tell us what you need. Susan

Talk to your surgeon Pat. He/She has all the answers as to what to expect. It is normal to be apprehensive, nervous, scared, and excited all that the same time. I would also suggest you read as many profiles as you can. You'll see everyone goes through some sort of emotional battle right before surgery. Many are also so inspirational. I still read them from time to time myself. At any rate, this website has provided so much support and I think it is a great tool to help anyone before and after surgery.
