I just checked my BMI and at 5'3" weighing now 159, my bmi is 28.2. That is a fantastic number. Do you know what your BMI is after surgery? Because it is that low from 53, I am basically now considered ready to start the reconstructive part even though it's been only 8 months. It's a great feeling. Love Kathy

You can be, you have to be determined. I don't recommend getting leukemia. How much do you need to lose? What have you lost so far? What did you start out as, and what is your goal? I'm trying not to lose anymore. I would look sickly now after losing all this to get to 130. That was my goal, but I am wearing clothes smaller then I was back then. I am comfortable with what I am now, just need to get rid of the excess skin, and finish toning the rest of me up. I know I will continue to lose up to 18 months, but I can also gain a few pounds during that time. But my man loves me know matter what, and I'm happy with where I am. If I lose more fine, if not that's ok too. I do plan on being able to walk the obesity walk next year in Nashville. What I like is my thighs don't rub each other. I do need to buy all new bras and underware this coming weekend. I have outgrown them again. I have outgrown all my jeans, and I will need to get a couple of pairs for my trip. Plus some new smaller size shirts. The 18-22 sizes are too big now. I am hoping to get up with my best friend and see if any of hers fits me now. She weighed 155 and is now 97. They don't know what is causing her to constantly lose the weight, I think a lot of it was stress, so does she. As obese use comfort foods when we are depressed or stressed out, she can't eat when she's stressed, or depressed. I am applying for my passport on Friday. I just hope my eye isn't swollen or still red, black, blue, or purple and certainly not yellow. I have to get 2 passport pictures made. I may get a third one and scan it for the computer. Just keep your goal in mind, and work with your tool, you will lose it, it's that simple. Workout, and get in as much of your water as possible. You have a better health going for you vs. me. My chemo causes fluid retention, I have an underactive thyroid that causes me to gain weight, and my anti-depressants cause me to gain weight, but I keep losing it whether I try or not. Best of luck sweetie, love Kathy

Thank you sarina. Wow you've been busy. Now if I could start getting the skin removed, I would be in heaven. Again thank you, your day is coming. Love Kathy
