Hi, I'm 2 months post op and I can tell you right now that I cant stand the protien shakes that my nutritionist has required me to drink, I've gone thro several samples annd even bought 5 containers full that I WONT use cause it doesnt taste right, I'd rather drink watered down chalk. I know I NEED the extra protien and my nutritionist is adament about this particular brand. Does anyone know out there another protien shake or bar that can be bought at a local store without ordering over the phone or internet. please help with this information. Thanks a Bunch!

Have you tried the EAS Carb AdvantEdge drinks?? They're not the greatest but they're tolerable - at least for me I usually just stick with the chocolate flavors. They have 100 calories and 15 grams of protein, there is hardly any sugar and 1 or 2 net carbs. You can get them at Wal-mart and Kroger stores. My personal favorites are Nectar fuzzy navel and the cappucinno Achiev One but you have to order those through the internet. April

I like the Designer Whey. I buy it at The Vitamin Shoppe and GNC. I also like Any Whey unflavored for adding to soup, coffee, etc. What kind of protein shake does your nut require. That help us steer you to some others to try. Susan

I have ordered IDS New Whey Protein Drinks its a Fruit Punch in 2.9 oz u just drink a small amount and its 25g Protein. Tastes good and goes down fast. Worth it. Its available at http://www.buildingbrawn.com/index.php?SubvendorID=410&PageNo=2&ProductID=2090054 That is the cheapest price that I have found it for.
