Insurance wants more from me

Hello, My doctor is Dr. Spaw, from Baptist Hospital in Nashville. I live in middle TN. The insurance company asked for one more thing! *sighs* They already asked for a cardiac work up, a nutritionist to speak with me, and a psychiatric evaluation. I did all those things, and turned it back in, only to be asked for the sleep study and more detailed information from my doctor on how we discussed my weight loss need for the past 6 months. Maybe this will be the last thing they need! Still hopeful

Hang in there. It's worth it to jump through all the hoops for the insurance company. I think it sounds promising that they are asking for more information. Keep us posted. Do you attend the support group at MSC yet? If you don't already, I think you would find it helpful and encouraging to start. If you do, let's make sure we make contact at the October meeting. Susan

sleep study is really o big deal and if your doc write the letter quickly, then it shouldn't be TOO much of a delay. Pretty soon you'll be trying to figure out the big day was coming upon you so quickly!
