TNCare and Plastic Surgery??
Hello Everybody,
It's been a long time. I'm just busy as usual. It's been a little over two years now since I've had my surgery and I'm pretty happy. I seem to be at a fairly steady weight now. I've lost 220 pounds and would still like to lose more. But what I want most is to have plastic surgery because I am getting horrible sores and rashes under my belly.
Has anyone been able to get TnCare to pay for having any plastic surgery? I am totally lost about how to go about finding out more on how I could get this done. Any help would be appreciated.
Julie
Hey Julie, you are looking great, and by the way NYSTOP works great for the rash and sores under the belly. Your Dr. needs to prescribe it, what you have is referred to as a yeast infection. Make sure it's documented in your records. TnCare said they would pay for mine, once I get a letter of denial from Medicare. I found only one Surgeon in Knoxville who will accept TnCare, once I receive the denial letter from Medicare. I wish you the best. Girl you are looking fantastic.
Love Kathy

But I having this feeling I shouldn't try and go much lower then I am already. Not until I get some of the excess skin removed. It's only been 8 months, but my bones are already showing, once the excess skin is removed and weighed, I know I will be less, but I can already feel my collar bones, shoulder bones, spine, ankles, and wrist, not to mention how thin my face and neck are. To go much lower, I would look sickly. Too thin, even though I used to weigh less then that.
