i am having surgery on sept 13th theere has anyone else been there? anyone used Dr colquitt?

Hi Theresa, I had Dr. Colquitt for my gastric bypass on Jan. 9, 06. He is a fantastic surgeon and I felt very comfortable having him do my surgery. His office staff are very friendly, and will help you so much. Blount Memorial Hospital staff for the weightloss ward would go out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Colquitt and Dr. Ray as a team make them super. He was the only one who would do my surgery as I have Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. So I spent over the first 4 months in and out of the hospital as my chemo pills kept dropping my potassium to the critical zone. When I would get so sick from the drop, Dr. Colquitt had me admitted before I even left my house. You will really have a special Dr. in him. Even his bedside manner is soothing and he's a gentle man. If I had to have the surgery all over again, I wouldn't hesitate with other Dr.'s, I would go straight to Dr. Colquitt. You can't go wrong with your choice.
