I'm back and I need some help

I've been gone for a while but I have had several things to happen. I have moved out of east tenn and back to my home town in middle tenn. I'm back in Waverly Tenn now. My insurance has been changed due to my moving. I am now on TennCare Select. I have all the paperwork that is needed for the insurance approval, even the psych appt. I have to go back to the grindstone and find a surgeon that will accept TennCare Select. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I swear I get so tired of all the effort and work that it takes. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Hi Ms Me: welcome back. Don't get discouraged. It's worth the effort believe me. You know what I have had to go thru, and I wouldn't trade losing the weight for a minute. Even with having leukemia. I have far more energy now then I did prior to surgery and after surgery. I still have to be careful in groups like wearing gloves and a mask, but that's ok too. If I had to do this surgery all over again, I wouldn't hesitate one minute. It's worth it in the end. So hang in there you won't regret it. On the back of your TnCare card is a custom service # call that and ask that a case manager be assigned to you. They will help you find a surgeon in your area that takes your insurance. May God travel with you on this journey. Love Kathy

I appreciate your response, Kathy! You always look on the bright side of things and try to bring hope to everyone. The world would be a better place if there was more kind and generous people like you. I contacted Dr Wrights office today. He was the one that I was trying to get approved thru. I talked with his assistant and she told me that they are out of network with tenncare select but they have a deal worked out with them, agreeing to see some of their obese patients. So now I have to send all my paperwork back to them! lol I swear I am going to be in the nut house before I get any progress done!
