Hi All! I have not been online to much since I had my surgery 6 weeks ago. But everything is going really good for me. I was able to start eating solid foods last week and I finally feel like I have some energy back. I went for my 6 week check up on Thursday and I have lost 40 POUNDS!!! I could not be happier about it. It has been a LONG 6 weeks but I would not change a thing. However, I will admit that it was a lot harder than I ever imagined. But I made it through. I am not doing well getting in the protein I need and I am hoping that once I get better at that, my energy level will come back. Other than lack of energy, I have not had any complications and I have never thrown up (knock on wood). I hope everyone is doing good. I will try to get on more and see whats going on with everyone. Misty, That is so good! I know you must be proud. I am a slow loser, but a loser none the less. I am down about 75 lbs. I am 3 months out. Keep the good work up. Lots of luck to you. Sara.

Hi Misty, isn't it great to be a loser? Congrats on the weightloss. I still have problems getting in all my water and protein. Most if not all of my protein comes from my food. I don't take supplements, and my protein goes into my urine because of my leukemia, but it's holding in normal ranges. Just remember the more protein you can get into your body will lessen the hair loss. Best of wishes coming your way, Kathy
