DENIED

Well I called BC every day for a week til I found out that my predetermination was denied (for lack of documentation). The doctor's office only sent in the pre surgery evaluation tool and not the medical records, but they will be doing this along with a copy of my certificate showing that I completed my required weight loss program (which will be in two weeks, August 10th). At this point, I feel alright about the fact that its denied because they haven't based it on any medical records....

Hi Melinda, don't give up yet, keep doing what needs to be done, get all your records, lab tests, letters from all your Dr.'s that it is MEDICALLY NECESSARY that you have this surgery, then have your surgeon submit it for you. I will keep you in my prayers that all will work out for you. Always Kathy
