Knoxville,TN Fort Sanders Parkwest Hospital, Dr.S. Boyce Hi, I would like to look for friendly faces. Thought, it might help knowing someone on the same day, doctor, & hospital. I'm trying to connect, to share, & learn. I'm also scared & it's easier to share with someone who's walking the same path. Kim

Hey Kim I don't have Dr. Boyce, but I have heard great things about him. I think you are going to be happy with choosing him. I am further out than you are, but just wanted to let you know that it is definitely easier to have people who have "been there, done that" and that is why I frequent the main chat room. Please come see us anytime you want to hear success stories -- or just hang out with people who know what's like! Definitely check with Dr. Boyce to find out what support groups are in your area as well for post-op. I hope you have a good support system at home, but even if you don't you are in the right place now! Good luck with your surgery and keep us updated! --joanna 325/134/140

Kim, I am post-op. I just wanted to say good luck & all will be well. I love my surgery & the life it has given back to me. I know you will do wonderful. I have different Dr.'s, but I have heard that Dr. Boyce is really good. Keep us updated. Sara.
