Liquid Calcium Citrate??
Hi Everyone! I hope all is well. I am back. Actually I have been back but I just have not been online. I had my surgery 6/22 and spent 4 days in the hospital. All went really well except I had a fairly high fever so I stayed in the hospital an extra day. I am still getting adjusted to everything. It has been a LOT harder than I ever thought it would be but I have no regrets. I am in high spirits and trying new things every day. I need to figure out more food options on my pureed diet but other than that, all is good. I still have no energy. I dont know if that is normal or not. I thought by 2 weeks out that I would gain strength back. Just going to the grocery store wears me out. I havent been able to start walking much because of the lack of energy but I am trying to go to the grocery store and get up and clean house and do a little more each day.
I am still trying to get adjusted to all of the medicine and vitamins I have to take. I have spent over $60 on Calcium citrate and I am not really taking any of them. They are all to large and thick and I can not bring myself to taking them three times a day. I have tried several kinds. Has anyone heard of a liquid Calcium citrate? Any suggestions? Thanks for everyones support!!
Misty
Misty, I am so glad to hear from you. I have posted a couple times to see if anyone had heard from you. I don't have to take the calcium except in tums. I don't know the answers to your question. I am glad to see you back tho. Take care & rest assured that the energy will return. I had trouble getting mine back also. My surgeon said it was PROBABLY due to my rapid weight loss. Isn't that a good thing?
Best of luck to you & I am sure someone will know the answer to your question.
Sara.

Misty! I'm so glad to see you back online. I'm sorry I didn't get to call you. I had an accident with my cell phone and lost your number...along with everyone elses. Anyways, have you tried a chewable calcium? I get mine through www.bariatricadvantage.com They have a mint, cinnamon, and chocolate flavors. I use the cinnamon....it's like eating candy to me. As for the liquid, my nutritionist said that it isn't the greatest tasting stuff. Good luck!
