I spoke to my sister again last night and she says you are right MidSouth Bariatrics is the place to go....She had hers done by a physician there. Don't worry about Cigna, I had Cigna and was approved in 3 days.....you just need letter of medical necessity, 6 month dr. supervised diet(he/she must document your exerise, diet recommendations etc.) psych eval., nutriotional consult and then just meet the general requirements for surgery.....If you get on Cigna's site, you can search bariatric surgery and it will come up with the specifics of what they require and the assessment page they use to make the determination! I took these to my PCP and he was estastic, he said now he knew exactly what they needed and he was a great asset in my approval...Good Luck! Never give up....Banded 4 months and down 56 pounds.
