I Am Approved!!!

Called Aetna today to check on status of pre-certification and was told that I was approved this morning. Paperwork was sent to Aetna on June 16th and I was approved in less than 2 weeks! Hoping to have Aetna fax a copy of the letter to my surgeons office so that we can get the ball rolling because they won't schedule me for pre-op tests until they receive the letter. Still a possibility that I could have surgery before school starts in August. One big step forward...... Karen

Hi Karen, aren't you glad we told you to call and follow up with them. See great things are happening in your life. That's an answer to a prayer. Thank you everyone for the encouraging words. I called the insurance company back yesterday to see if they would fax the approval letter to the doctors office so I can get this ball rolling. Nobody seemed to know if they could do that or not. I kept getting transferred to different people. I finally just hung up. Hopefully the July 4th holiday won't postpone the arrival of the letter too long. I find that I am walking around with a smile plastered on my face. No telling what I will be like when I get my date.
