I have a question for post-ops
Has anyone else found taking their medications with water makes them sick? I have to take mine with milk, anything else and I'm
ing them right back up. In the mornng now I drink a Boost in the morning with my meds, and at night 4ozs of 2% milk to take the bedtime pills. If I take even tylenol with water, I am
ing that fast. I've never had this problem until after surgery. I didn't know it was from the leukemia or if others had this problem. I have talked with one person who has the same type of leukemia, and recently had her surgery, but she's not having this problem. I even go to Big Lots and buy the shelf 2% milk for .99 and keep them in the cabinet,so that if I run out of milk I have those, just stick it in the fridge until it's cold then take my pills with it.
On the good side, I was able to eat 2 bites of a NY strip steak last night. I had bought it when it was on sale, cut it into small chunks, and last night was the first time I could eat one. I do love my George Foreman grill. Love Kathy

Hi Beth, one person told me the only way they could take their pills is with a pepsi. Otherwise she's sicker then a dog. I would think the pepsi would make her sick, but it doesn't. She says she only drinks it with her meds. Each is different. At first it was just apple juice, but since about March or April it has to be milk or nothing. One thing able it, though, is it helps me to relax and about an hour after taking my meds, I can't keep my eyes open. And it helps the bones. Love Kathy
