seeking ppl that has used st. francis hospital

hello all, you people on here are so very supportive of each other, i just started doing some real digging on here to find out all i can to make sure i'm doing the right thing for the last 4 months i have been preparing for the lap-band surgery and even had a date 3-22-06 but just before my date they were contacted and told that the hospital (henry co. hospital) didnt meet medicare requirements,so here i go starting all over again i found dr.mcgrath weaver in memphis have only talked to one lady that she done the surgery on and she talked very highly of her but would like to talk to many more, it looking like i may have a date as soon as middle of august,,,keeping my fingers crossed,,,i have one more meeting with the dietitian a 2 hour class july 13, and then meet the doctor and then a date,,,also the reason i changed from lap to this is the amount of weight you lose in a short amount of time and i need it FAST ive never been this big in my life i'm 41 yr old with three grown children and a wonderful supportive husband of 23 yrs and i wanna see my kids get married and have a family, you might say this will save my life as i'm sure most of you felt the same way at some point. well thanks for reading all of this and i look forward to hearing from you all,, god bless and take care of yourself. teresa

I had surgery with Dr. Weaver over 2 years ago and her staff and she are all so easy to work with, caring and are so amazing! You are at the right place! Debra
