Hello all!!!
How is everyone? I am doing ok. I will weigh in again on the 14th, so I will try to post when I find out how much more I have lost. This has been a good month for me. I am still having trouble with low energy, But I know that this will soon pass. I am so tired of this protein powder stuff. I am going to buy some shakes already made up to try. Anyone have any suggestions? I am open to any & all. Please let me know how you all are doing. Hope to hear from you soon. I am still having some trouble getting & staying logged on to the site. Please feel free to Email me & let me know.
Sara.

Hi Sara
glad you are doing ok, how much do you think you have lost? Will this be your 3 month weigh-in, or what? We need to talk, will call you later okay. I don't take protein supplements myself, I just get in the cottage cheese, mild cheddar cheese, white meat, chicken, tuna, fish, shrimp, so far turkey is settling with my pouch at the moment. Eggs have protein. V8 Tomatoe juice with calcium or original. Green veggies, like broccali. I drink the V8 juice in the morning before I go work out, then water while I am working out, lunch is usually cottage cheese with fresh blueberries or strawberries, and in the evening it's usually a boneless, skinless chicken breast soaked in lite Italian dressing and put on my George Foreman grill. One glass (8oz) of V8 tomato juice has 2 grams of protein, but for me it has 680 grams of Potassium. Most of the juices I buy are higher in potassium, and I get my protein from my meat and eggs that I eat. I have protein power, but it won't stay down.
Got my prenatal Vitamins today. Hopefully, I will start feeling the energy that I need to pack and move to Morristown. I'll call you later, girl. You be have, love Kathy

Hello Sara,
I am so glad to hear that you are doing well. How much wieght do you think you lost since your surgery? I am sorry to hear from you that you are having low enegry.
I know from listening too a lot of people that the protein powders are nasty. You might want to ask the GMC people or anyone who you go to for you protien powders, if they can tell you if they have some that taste good or some shakes too. I think they will know more that anyone who has , what kind of protien powders to take for the rest of your life
At least I hope so.
I also have a question for you. I have the same insurance as you. Were you required to lose 10% of your body wieght by your insurance company to be approved for the surgery? Please email me the answer. I would like to know. I go for my second WLS appointment on the third of next month. This is where they will look over and send all my paper work to my insurance company.
I would like to know because it has been a month sense my six month diet ended and I have two and half weeks left before I go to the WLS doctor.
I am finding it hard to keep the wieght off.
NO one told me that I was suppose to stay on my diet even atfer the diet ended
. I am still eating the way I am suppose too. Or at least trying too. I am still drinking water and trying to stay low fat. I was just wondering what they require in the way of body percentage lose that is required.
I thought maybe you will know.
I hope you will feel better soon.
These hands are for you and your brave soul for under going weight loss surgery.
Your friend,
Tina
