Dr. McDowell in Nashville?

Hi everyone! Has anyone had their surgery done by Dr. McDowell at Western Baptist in Nashville? Yesterday I went to a seminar that was given by him and he seemed pretty nice. I was just wondering how good of a doctor he was. Thanks! Cherri

Cherri, I can't give you any first hand experience with Dr. McDowell as I've never met him. However, I can tell you that he is now in practice with my surgeon at the Metabolic Surgery Clinic and I believe you will be in good hands. I do know one person who has had surgery recently with Dr. McDowell and he was very pleased with the care he got. He has had no problems post-op. Good luck, Susan

Thanks Susan! That helps. He seemed very nice at the seminar. I know one person who's sister had him as a surgeon and she was very pleased. It just bothered me that he's only been doing this 2 years and there is not much information on him. Thanks again. Cherri

He may have "only" been doing bariatric surgery for 2 years but he's been doing general surgery for much longer. He is an experienced surgeon. I'm sure you will be in great hands!
