Blue Light special, hurry and read...
Hey, had my blood work done today. Now mind you I haven't been taking my chemo pills for 2 weeks as of yesterday. My white cell count is normal range, my red cell count is just below normal, if it gets higher then the white cells, then the disease in rapidly getting worse. My protein is just below normal, potassium is staying in normal range and I haven't taken any potassium supplements. I know those when I take my medicines at night, to take them with milk instead of water. Then I don't do the
ing of all my pills. My anemia is low but not that bad. Hadn't received the B-12 report, but I wasn't worried, every Monday and Thursday I give myself a shot and I had just done that when the driver showed up to take me to Morristown to the center center for my weekly blood work plus my monthly for Dr. Colquitt. I didn't have to be hooked up for Magnesium, or potassium. YEA. Love ya all, Kathy

Forgot to tell you, an MRI on my right knee shows no bone marrow disease, so it's contained just in my lower spine and hips. That says the Leukemia isn't getting worse, and when I saw my Oncologist about 2-3 weeks ago, it didn't show up in my blood work. Just in the bone marrow in my lower spine and hips.
and she knows I'm not on the chemo pills. Her partner says that it would be wise for me to go back on them within the next two weeks. Right, I'll be moving out, storing everything and going to WVa to visit my parents in July. Like I want to
constantly while I am there. Will have to watch what I eat there. Dad likes to fry things, and uses alot of pork and beef. Must get ground chicken while I am there, and change him to cooking with that instead of the beef. Mom can't have beef, nor can I and short of my having to do all the cooking, I will make him use the ground chicken vs beef. They haven't seen me since my surgery in January. Tomorrow it will be 5 months. It's gone by fast. I will be back in TN on July 25, as I see my surgeon on the 26 for my 6 month weigh-in and measurements. I will be able to work out while I am in WVa for almost the same price that I pay here. Give or take $1. I am hoping to get the parents to have a DSL hooked up to their computer so I can keep up with y'all, the library allows me to read my mail not answer it, nor can I get into this site. So they better cooperate. I can make life difficult with the withdrawals from not being on the computer. Keeps the arthritis in the fingers limber. Later, Kathy

That's great Laura, I try and go at least 3 times a week, I have a Gazelle, but after working out three days a week, Thursday I'm at the cancer center for most of the day getting labs done and having to wait for the results. I leave Tuesday for appointments. As for packing, I'm too tired out in the evening, so I do it on the weekends. Right now I am just angry enough to just walk away with what ever I can get in my minivan. Then I get angry for think that. My emotions are running rapid today. Oh well. I needed a good cry, eyes needed cleaning out every so often. Thank you, as long as my leukemia blood counts are staying in normal range, I am not going to take the chemo pills. If it ain't broke why fix it, as long as I feel good and labs are good, then why should I take pills that are chemicals made with poison to make me sick constantly. If my white cells start going up, then I will go back on the chemo. But for now, I am in the good zone. You stick to working out, you'll feel better for it. Love Kathy
thank you Terry, I could sure use the prayers today. Between working out, having to use my cell phone to call on rentals, getting yelled at for something I didn't do, crying cause it broke my heart, and people aren't calling back regarding the rentals that I left messages on, is very tiring emotionally and mentally. I figure as long as the blood work stays in normal, I am not taking the chemo pills, that are made of chemicals that puts poison in my system. If the white cells starts going out of range, I will go back on them, but for now if it isn't broke why fix it? You hang in there and do your best, that is all that is expected of you. Love Kathy
