HELP!!! Whats Wrong with ME!!!!
I am having absolutly no problems with anything since surgery. I have lost 100 plus pounds since 1-6-06. I know my protein is not what it should be but I am working on that. I am eating whatever I want to eat, just not sugars and breads. I can eat about a cup of food at any given time. I even ate a hamburger from McDonalds when I was out and actually got hungry. I know this is not a good thing. I need a support group I think. I am not eating all the time like I used to and I am not eating much when I do eat...I have gone from a 32 pant to a 20-22 pant...my shirts are hanging to my knees...I think I think I need to feel sick or something.
Hey girl, I haven't seen you post in a while. It sounds like you're doing great! Okay, except maybe for the protein but you know where you are on that.
What's wrong with eating a McDonald's hamburger once in a while? I'm sure it wasn't the double bacon quarter pounder with cheese now was it?
I'd love to have you try out our support group at Baptist if you're looking for a group. We meet the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 in the waiting room of the Metabolic Surgery Center in Plaza I near Baptist Hospital. We won't meet in July because the first tuesday is July 4th.
We need to do another get together of the Nashville Ladies. I'd love to see you again. Let me know your thoughts on it.
Anyone else want to be a part of a Nashville meet & greet/support group?
Susan
Congratulations on the weight loss Michella! That is wonderful.
Keep up the good work and work on adding more protein to your diet ok? Also, you're probably at the stage where a lot of post-ops start to really feel their hunger more than before. Focusing on more protein will help you avoid things like McDonald trips. I know easier said than done. Congratulations again... I certainly can't wait to get where you are!

Hi Michella, that's great on the weightloss. My protein is a little low but it's showing up in my urine. Apparently that's not a good sign, as I have to turn in a sample every week. I can drink water and my urine is coming out real dark. I had my surgery 3 days after you, I'm done to a size 16-18 in pants, 20 in tops, and 81.5 lbs gone for ever. I work out 3 days a week, and when I have the energy I work around the house, use my gazelle, or walk. I give my body the weekend off from most of my meds, and pack a box or two. Sundays is totally a relax day. I don't do a thing but rest. That's the Lords day and I was raised that we rest and enjoy that day not work. I do that on his day. Keep up the great work. I'm proud of your loss. Love Kathy
