input on walk from obesity in nashville.....

I looked on the walk from obesity website and there is no walk in nashville. Anyone interested in forming a group to join and walk???? here is the website for info about it...i think it would be a great idea and I would really like to do it!! All over the US on Sept 30. www.walkfromobesity.com i'm not sure if we can join them without a doctor sponsor but atleast maybe all get together and walk on that day to show support..... I think Bryan Woodward is working on organizing this year's walk in Nashville. He is the founder of Walk From Obesity and is the Director of Bariatric Operations at Baptist Hospital. I know he was talking to someone about the upcoming organizational meeting for the walk just before our support group meeting last month. I'll give him a call tomorrow and see what I can find out. I just talked to Dawn at The Metabolic Surgery Center and there is going to be a walk in Nashville. The date is October 7th. She said they give you multiple dates to choose from and the Hall of Fame park was not available on September 30th. That is where they have always held the walk so they chose a different date. She is emailing me the information and I will post more info as I get it. Susan
