Greetings friends The 6month diet has came to an end my friends.. I did not think I could make it all by myself. But with the advice of several of my friends here I made it. I lost a total number of 30 pounds.. Which I will gain some back during the wait for my WLS doctor to call me, to tell me he recieved my records. Because I was not told to stay on my diet. I am still drinkin my flavored water and not soda and pretty much staying sugar-free. But I noticed some weight gain eating normal not like before ,more healthier this time. Now all I am waiting on is the call from my WLS doctor. I know I have tried and realize I need this surgery and my life will not get any better without it. But as of Wednesday 17, 2006 my diet is over with and all test and requirements are done. I could not have done it without my friends here. Your kept me going.Thank You. I hope you all the best in your diet struggle You all keep strong and your dreams will come true.. Your friend, Tina

Hi Tina! Congrats on completing everything. That part is over. Now for the waiting part!!!! Dont sit back and wait for them to call you. Make sure you follow up and call then to make sure they have everything and call to make sure they get it submitted. If have learned anything from this process, it is to not wait for that call and to call them. Let us know how it goes. I am still waiting for an answer from my insurance company. I call twice a day. I know that is a lot but I want to know the day they approve or deny it! The waiting is torture! But I guess no answer is better than just NO. Last time when they denied me, they knew in a day or two. So, I guess since it is taking them longer this time, maybe that is a good sign. I wish you luck and keep striving for the ultimate goal. Talk to you soon. Misty

Start working out and pretty much stick to your diet. Can't hurt. And like Misty says don't wait for them, call them on a regular basis to make sure they do their job. Just remember the more in shape you are prior to surgery, the better you will do during surgery and recovery. Don't give up on what you have started this last 6 months. You can still do it and work out. I'm proud of you and I know you can still do it. Love ya bunches, Kathy
