Pro Bono Gastric Bypass?

Hello Everyone I am new to the site. I am a Hefty mother of 2 beautiful girls. I have tried diet after diet to lose weight, exercise as well. I am scared to death that I am going to have a heart attack and leave my girls without a mother. I have trouble playing with them due to my extra weight and it breaks my heart. I do not currently have insurance, In fact just got laid off from my job. Any way I am looking for an Angel from god . One who does the surgery pro bono. If there is anyone out there that knows a Doctor who can do it or takes Pro Bono Please let me know. I am at my witts end trying to find help. Any help anyone gives me would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Heather, I know of no Dr.'s that does Pro Bono on this type of surgery. But continue checking this site, who knows someone may know of one. Have you tried getting TnCare since you are now out of a job? Check with them, and see if they can help you. I wish you the best, and will keep you in my prayers that you find the help you need. Hi, If you had ins. with your job, maybe you could get surgery before it runs out. If there is a Vocational Rehabilitation Office in your town....go to them and see if they will help, they do sometimes help with other things that would help secure a job, and WLS sure would be a big help.
