Hi Laura,
I am not too far from you-I live in Mt Juliet. Are you scheduled for surgery yet? I am scheduled for the 30th, can't believe it is almost here finally. It is nice to find someone that lives near me. I think it is great that you have support going for you. Your daughter is too cute. I have two wonderful boys and I really need to try and get some pictures on here. Still working on that. I bought the wrong piece for my dig cam. Anyways, e-mail me sometime if you want to talk more.
(((hugs)))

Hi Laura, what did you think of the seminar. Did it answer most of your questions? I saw my oncologist and eye Dr.'s today. The oncologist is going to start having them check my iron when I have my blood work done each week, as I get tired out to easily. Plus if my potassium or magnesium is low, I am to be hooked up and given IV medication to keep my electrolites in normal range.
My eye dr. says my eyes have changed drastically since having to go on chemo. I have a cateract in the right eye, and a stigmatisium in the left. I need glasses for far sided now plus for close up reading. I am going to see about going with contact lens for the far sided, and just wear reading glasses when needed. I am going to check with the Lions Club to see if they can help me with the glasses, there's no way I can afford them.
Oh well, as long as I am on this chemo, my eyes won't settle down. I'm off for a nap. Love ya, Kathy
