Psych Eval

I have an appt for my psych evaluation on May 30th in Nashville with Dr Charles Ihrig. They told me it would take approx 4 hours!! What in the world could they possibly to with me for 4 long hours?????? Does anyone know anything about this doc?

He'll probably give you some kind of tests. I had to take two different tests, bubble fill in type and it took almost 2 hours. I don't know anything about the doctor though. Good luck

Ms Me I would say a written test, then the consult with the psych. But Never heard of it taking 4 hours. The test is about an hour give or take. Let us know how it goes, and what all you had to do. Never heard of this Dr. either. May God travel with you on this journey. Love Kathy

Mine was with Aethnia consulting on West End, and it maybe took an hour and a half. A half hour of talking and then all the tests, maybe they just want to make sure you allow enough time to complete all the tests??? Good luck, it'll be a breeze!!! Jacqueline

I used to work at a mental health office. When the counselor gave the MMPI (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory) test, it is almost 400 questions long. It can take an hour to two hours for some people. If he does the WAIS (Weschler Adult Intelligence Scale) this takes about 30 or so minutes. He will meet with you for an interview time... these are just a few. So you will not actually be in the same room being "examined" for four hours! Hope this helps. Good luck.
