How long did you actually have to wait from the date your Doctor referred you to hear back from them?
How long did it take once you were in the program before surgery date?
Can you tell me what types of food you actually ate while you were waiting and were you able to follow a diet at that time?

The sleeve is really the part 1 of the DS which I had. Although, I have also been re-sleeved nearly a year ago. I have a friend also, that went to Mexico for a band, and returned for removal and had a sleeve done. Will you be at the October meeting ??

AM I CRAZY ... LOL. heading back to Brazil in 2012 to finish plastics. Fingers crossed, money and such.

Yes it's for anybody who wants a healthier life. We have people who have had all types of surgeries here and abroad. I'm not sure if anyone has had the VGS but we are there to support you in your journey. Come and see us.

I've posted a few pictures most of them are before right now. I do have one that I took a couple of weeks ago when I was tickled to get into a shirt I didn't fit before. (**** just realized I forgot to take it out of the wash before I dried it. its cotton and will shrink. sigh I'll probably have to lose some more weight before I can fit it again).

Is this support group for any bariatic patients? I am having my VSG on Oct 18th in Mexico but would really like to have a support group here to talk to others.
