Support Groups in Saskatoon?

Are there any support groups in Saskatoon? Not necessarily for wls, a general obesity one would be good. You would think we'd be swimming in post op ds people.

Hi there, not sure if there is a support group in Saskatoon or not - I am from here as well and went to Mexico for my VSG surgery in June.

I do know there is a support group in Regina that is supposed to be for all of Saskatchewan but all their meetings and social events are in Regina.

There IS a support group in Saskatoon! We meet next on Nov 4 at 6:30 at the Cosmo Civic Center.  This group is mostly VSG sleeve patients of Dr. Almanza but I hear we have a few others that may be joining us from other surgeons too.  Thanks to peanutfreemom (www.weightlossforever.ca) and her friends, we're even beginning to organize a clothing swap so that as you go down in sizes, you might be able to find something else that works!
