Hi,
We are doing a fun game with the December 2004 babies and the January 2005 babies on seeing who is the biggest losers. We need everyone who had surgery in December 2004 to join us if they wish. All you have to do is click on the link below and click reply on the first post to Liz and tell her how much you have lost to date and she will add that to our number of pounds shed.

Hey SD!, all is good. Every day I get stronger and can do more. The weather makes it hard to walk every day. DH won't let me walk on icy sidewalks. Go figure. Any way the next support group meeting in Spearfish is the 4th! That is also when Shanon has her surgery!! Best of luck Shanon.
Any way Have a happy NEW YEAR!!

Topic: RE: IT'S ME...THANK YOU ALL FOR THE THOUGHTS/PRAYERS
I did have low back pain shortly after, too. I even went to my family practice dr. thinking I was having some sort of kidney trouble. We decided it was just from the trauma of surgery & being less active right after surgery. Once I got going on my treadmill again, it went away shortly there after. Every new thing makes you think differently, though. Congrats on your amazing success!!!

HI, Becky -
There usually isn't too many people posting on the SD message board. But, I am in Spearfish.
I was living in WA and went to San Diego to have my surgery- we moved back to SD last year.

Topic: Holiday Eating Tips/Coping!
This time of year can be a very stressful time for everyone. You might remember just a few weeks back we introduced Dr. Roger Gould, Dr. Gould has been working with us to create a forum dedicated to "Emotional Eating". We expect to launch this in early January. Dr Gould is making available a web application he developed to help people cope with holiday stress. As we all know, during the holiday season the stresses that we face create obstacles that make eating or "snacking" a real problem. This link leads you through some useful material that can really help you cope with the stresses you face.
