We are in the final testing stages on the beta site for the NEW look for Obesityhelp. If you haven't looked please do so. http://beta.Obesityhelp.com The full roll out will probably be sometime tomorrow afternoon. The site will be totally different, many of the same things, just better organized and added features. This change is essential for the many features that have asked for, uploading your own photos, profile privacy options, profile blogs, private messaging, etc. These will NOT all be in place for the change over, but will be coming VERY soon after the beta site is live. We have listened to member concerns with the site and message boards and are working on those things one step at a time. Be advised that we don't anticipate any problems, however anytime that you make changes, you never know what may happen. We will quickly address any issues that come up during the changes. Hi Lori - I didn't realize there was a SD page either. I am post op (approx 7 weeks), from the Yankton area. Not sure that I would have any advice, I still have a lot of questions myself, but is good to know there are others in the area going through this same thing. Good luck on your journey. Sheri

It's neat to know there are other people from SD doing the same thing. I live in Martin and am 12 days post op. Doing WONDERFUL and 30 pounds gone today!!

Hey all - I am a 7 month post op patient - and my surgeon was Dr. Lederer - an awesome awesome person - and one that is so supportive - that when I chose to start a support group in Western Wisconsin - he offered to come speak at one of our group meetings - but instead has gone one step above that - HCMC and Dr. Lederer - SPONSORED THE SUPPORT GROUP!!! He will be speaking at the FIRST OH - Western Wisconsin Bariatric Surgery Support Group's REGIONAL CONFERENCE on June 4th - 2006 - to be held at the Best Western Hudson House from 8 am to 6 pm!!!!!!!!! So - not only do I want EVERYONE to show up at this conference - but lets have a show of hands of those that are Dr. Lederer's patients as well - to come and share in this experience with me!!! Incase you haven't heard our site will soon be changing over to something totally new. Just in the past day our main message board has been totally changed on the beta site. Check it out here: http://beta.obesityhelp.com/forums/amos/ Some features in the new boards include: the ability to edit your own posts, delete a post, have signature lines, and font selections. The site is operational and can be used to post on and search through. We are still working on more things to be added. Keep in mind the site is not 100% complete, which means we are still adding and changing things. This rollout focuses around implementing a new navigation, customizable homepage, bookmarks and a few other neat items that we know you will enjoy; however, our job is not complete. We are also in the process of adding more requested features to the site including: a new profile system, blogs, photo albums, private messaging, and much, much more.
