Can Anyone Help Me? Thanks A Million In Advance.............

Hi my name is Pam, and I am from Iowa. I was scheduled 3 seperate times to have the Gastric ByPass Surgrey done, and all 3 times it got cancelled. Well needless to say 3 weeks ago (for my third time) I was to have it done, I got a phone call, and the surgeon that was going to do it is leaving. (Mind you, it took me over a year to get where I am at, I have done all the procedures I had to go through, and now have to somewhat start over). Now I found a doctor in Sioux Falls (I should say I went, and saw my family Dr. today, and he got the ball rolling), by the name of Dr. Harris, and I was hoping that maybe someone could give me alittle information/imput on him. I am going to the seminar he has comming up on May 3rd. Any informatin would be of great help. Thanks a million!

He did my surgery 2 years ago. He got the job done. I can't say that I liked his lack of bedside manner though. As far as the surgery he did the rny on 2 of my friends too. None of us had any problems. I went from 266 at 5 3 to about 160-165. Unfortunately I have gained about 10 back.

He did my surgery May 3, 2005. It took 4 1/2 hrs(revision from 20 years ago)-he probably just got done in time for the group session. I think he and his staff are great. I go back Aug 11, for my 3 month check. I haven't had any problems. Good Lucj.
