looking for support for a friend....

I'm having my surgery done in Sioux Falls and My doctor recommended The Sioux Falls Gastric Bypass Support Group. Meetings are held at 7:pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month at Avera McKennan Fitness Center Conference Room. 3400 S. Southeastern Avenue. Sioux Falls, SD. The sioux Falls Gastric Bypass Support Group is a patient-led group that offers a supportive environment in which individuals are able to share experiences and information and ask questions of others. Gastric bypass surgery is a life-changing operation. That is why this group promotes healthy lifestyle changes and features speakers each month who discuss a wide range of topics relating to gastric bypass surgery. As part of the Avera Bariatric Institute, the Center for Bariatric Medicine/Avera Health, Dakota Surgical, and the Surgical Institute of Souoth Dakota are prout to support this group. After-surgery support is an important part of a successful treatment plan for individuals indergoing gastric bypass. We also recognize the importance of this group for individuals and their "support person(s)" contemplating gastric bypass surgery. I hope this helps
