MEDICAID AND MEDICARE SURGEONS LIST!

Hello Members,

On a daily basis we get calls from members in desperate need of surgeons that will accept Medicaid and or Medicare for Bariatric surgery.  It breaks our hearts when we have to say "we don't know of any surgeons in your state we can refer you to". 

Can you please help us? If you know of any surgeons in your state that accepts Medicaid and or Medicare, will you list their:

hELLO, i BELIEVE THAT DR.OBRIEN DOES ACCEPT MEDICADE PATIENTS..HE IS LOCATED IN  SIOUX FALLS , SD..

Try Dr Harris out of Sioux Falls.

At Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, Dr. Dennis Glatt and Dr. Donald Graham are BSCOE surgeons, so Medicare and Medicaid are accepted by them.  Dr. Curtis Peery is working on getting his Center of Excellence Surgeon Designation as well, and after that he will also be able to take Medicare/Medicaid patients.

Both of the Surgeons mentioned above are with Sioux Valley Hospital (Sandford) they are with Surgical Associates.  There are many surgeons in that office so, that really would be the best place to look.  Otherwise in South Dakota, surgeons are few and far between in different towns (small towns).
