Any Dr O'Brien patients having a RNY in Nov ?

Hello My name is cathy and I have surgery with Dr O'brien in sioux falls on the 7th of Nov  he seems to be a great surgeon according to the dr's that referred me to him and I'm looking forward to get this over but  was wondering about anyone else that went through surgery already with him.. how it went. thanks Cathy

I had my rny in california but just had my gall bladder removed last week by dr glatt who shares the same office as dr obrien....i was very impressed with the office staff and when i had my gall bladder out the hosptial staff was all very friendly.... good luck with your surgery on the 7th

Hi Cathy! I am having surgery on the 5th with Dr. O'Brien, but it is Lapband, not RNY. I have heard all positive comments about him, and have been pleased with him during my 2 preop appointments. Good luck to you!

hello I'm going to the Nutrition class on the 30th are you going to that class it would be fun to meet up I live in Miller but my daughter lives in ft.pierre so I get therequit often to see my grand babys?

I was able to attend the class earlier this month. Just got all my labs back and everything looks great, so it seems I am a go for Monday. Hope class went well for you yesterday!

Hello I found out that the Support group meets in pierre thursday nights I think Its like every other and that would be great I can come to support group and see my grand babys also they live in Ft pierre I would love to know if you had went to it yet and how it is? take care and gl I have three days and surgery on wed Finally..
